4 employees injured by Illegal hunters in Cholistan
RAHIMYAR KHAN: Four employees of the Wildlife Department were injured after their vehicle overturned due to the firing of illegal hunters in Cholistan here on Tuesday night.
The Wildlife Department staffers were on a routine patrol in Cholistan near Sodka when they saw some people hunting animals illegally.
On seeing the staffers, the hunters opened the fire on the vehicle, which overturned due to the burst of the tyre. As a result, Wildlife Department Inspector Shah Rasool, Guides M Akmal, Mehboobul Haq and driver Muhammad Hanif were injured.
The hunters fled, leavening a deer. After sometimes, other employees rescued their colleagues. The Islamgarh police have registered a case against six people, including Shahzad Khakwani alias Tetu, Abdul Hakim alias Makhan, Noor Nabi alias Shamee Daha, Sabqatullah alias Sabu and Sajid Ali.
The injured were discharged from the hospital after first-aid.
