Islamabad: 106 outlaws held in 5 months
Islamabad: The Islamabad Police arrested a total of 106 persons involved in street crimes during the last five months, the police spokesman said.
The police recovered 87 mobile phones, 10 snatched vehicles and looted items worth thousands of rupees from them. The City Circle police arrested 15 persons and recovered 37 mobile phones; Saddar Circle police arrested 57 persons and recovered four snatched vehicles, 36 mobile phones; Rural Circle police arrested 15 persons and recovered two snatched vehicles and 10 cell phones while the Industrial Area Circle police arrested 19 persons and recovered four snatched vehicles, seven mobile phones and cash from them.
SSP (Islamabad) Tahir Alam Khan has directed all the SDPO and SHOs for taking stern action against anti-social elements.
