Karachi: Man killed, two bodies found
Karachi: A man was killed on Tuesday and the bodies of two persons were found in gunny bags from the Kalri area on Tuesday, police said. The bodies of two unidentified men, said to be of ages between 25 and 30 years, were recovered from the Nayabad area and shifted to hospital by police. Both men had been hanged to death by some people and dumped in the area in gunny bags, the police said.
No identification cards were found on the deceased, whose corpse bore torture marks. Moreover, after the recovery of the bodies, tension gripped the area as some people protested. In the meantime, the police received information that armed men driving a car had dumped a body packed in a gunny bag near the Lea Market Chowk, Kharadar. The police reached the spot and opened the bag to find that the man was alive. He was, however, injured and the police immediately shifted him to the Civil Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The deceased had been brutally tortured and had received a bullet wound. According to the police, the man’s identity could not be ascertained as yet. A case has been reported and further investigations are under way.
