Lalamusa: 2 kidnappers held
LALAMUSA: The police claimed to have arrested two kidnappers, out of four, who killed a class 9 student after his parents failed to pay Rs five million for his release.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, DSP Jahangir said that Akhtar of Sukhkalan village, Muhammad Rizwan of Chodowal, Faisal Imran and Fiaz of Mianwali had kidnapped 15-year-old Muhammad Usman from Mohallah Camping Ground on May 19. He said that his parents launched a search, but to no avail. He said that the City police registered a case against unknown accused under section 365-A of the PPC on May 23 on the report of abductee’s father Muhammad Azeem. He said that they arrested Akhtar and Muhammad Rizwan on suspicion who disclosed that they with their two accomplices had strangled to death Usman in the Khutiyala Sheikhan police area and threw his body in a drain near Bhandowal village. He said that the body was recovered on May 23, but it could not be identified and was buried in Mandi Bahauddin. They said that they had traced the accused from their cell phones. The City SHO was also present.
