Dispute claims seven lives in Dir Upper
DIR: Seven persons including three women were killed and four others injured during a shootout between two rival groups over a land dispute on Dobanda area of Dir Upper district, police said on Wednesday.
The fighting started after a dispute over construction of a micro-hydel power station. As a result Muhammad Saeed, Umar Muhammad and Gul Muhammad died from Amar Muhammad Group while Bahadar Khan, Mst Noor Bibi, Jehan Bibi and Bibi Noor were killed from the other group. The supporters of one group also put on fire a house belonging to a rival.
