Lahore: Fraud accused remand extended
Lahore: An accountability court on Saturday extended seven-day judicial remand of Rana Imtinan, an accused of obtaining illegal benefits and crime proceeds through fake collaterals in bogus loaning of Rs 140 million.
On Saturday, the accused was produced before the court from a jail. The court has directed the NAB, Punjab, to submit supplementary chalan against the accused as soon as possible. The court has extended judicial remand of the accused by June 11. According to details, an investigation was authorised by the NAB against the accused and others on a complaint filed by the manager of National Bank of Pakistan, Lyton Road branch, Lahore. It was alleged that the accused got bogus loans amounting to Rs 140 million against fake collaterals.
