Karachi: Watchman, labourer among three killed
Karachi: Three people, including a watchman and a labourer, were murdered in different places on Monday. Zaheer Khan, 30, a watchman, was killed by his cousin Hussain, police said. After an argument, Hussain hit him with a hammer inside a bungalow on Khayaban-e-Badar in Defence Phase V where Zaheer used to work as a watchman.
One of the neighbours saw the incident happening and informed the police, who shifted the body to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for legal formalities. Meanwhile, the decomposed body of Muhammad Miskeen, 63, was found in his Muslim Estate Building near the b check post. Police shifted the body to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities.
The medico-legal officer said that the body was at least three days old. According to him, the man was killed with a blunt object. Police said that Miskeen was a retired KDA employee and lived alone. The police claimed that some of his family members might have killed him due to a personal enmity.
A labourer, Fazal Rehman, 45, was shot dead by two armed motorcyclists in Korangi, Sector 7/A. Police said Rehman had been working as a labourer in a local factory.
