Rawalpindi: 2 men get life sentence in kidnapping case
Rawalpindi: Anti-Terrorist Court (No. 1) Judge Malik Muhammad Akram Awan Monday awarded life imprisonment to two men in a kidnapping for ransom case. The court awarded life imprisonment and ordered confiscation of all moveable and immoveable property of Ghulam Sabir and Muhammad Imran.
The Attock Saddar Police had registered a case under Section 365-A against Ghulam Sabir and Muhammad Imran for allegedly kidnapping Haq Nawaz on September 18, 2009. The kidnappers had demanded Rs2.5 million as ransom from the relatives of Haq Nawaz.
