Karachi: Suspects in teenager’s murder case remanded
Karachi: Two suspects involved in the murder of a teenager were remanded in police custody on Tuesday till June 13. Abid Hussain and Abrar Siddiqui were produced in the court of the Judicial Magistrate, West, in the murder case of the teenager, Daniyal, for foiling their alleged designs to sodomise his friend. Daniyal and his friend were friends with the children of the two accused who were settled in Orangi Town, but actually hailed from Peshawar, and had come to town some two years back.
Daniyal came to know about the plan while they were having a conversation to that effect by the roadside. He informed his friend and advised him to report them to the police. The suspects pestered and harassed Daniyal when they came to know that he was going to report the matter to the police.
On May 25, they went to Daniyal’s house to carry out their evil designs and called Daniyal through his friend outside the house. Then they forcibly took him to some unidentified place and shot him dead, according to the prosecution. A hunt was launched for the suspects and, and after a hectic search, the police managed to arrest the two on Monday.
