Lahore: Man kills jobless son
LAHORE: A man stabbed his 26-year-old unemployed son to death after a quarrel with him, an eyewitness and police sources said. According to them, Faisal Imran, a resident of Yousuf Park, Shahdara police area, abused his father Mushtaq Hussain. “Mushtaq advised his son to get some job as he had been a vagabond since long but he, instead of obeying his father, he lost his senses,” they added. Police, quoting family statement, said Mushtaq picked a sharp edged knife and stabbed to death his morally bad son.
SHO Inspector Sharif Sindhu said Mushtaq personally had handed him over to police twice over his immoral activities in the past. “According to the family, when he openly started abusing his father, Mushtaq took this heinous step of killing his own son,” he added.
The accused managed to flee from the crime scene. Police have lodged an FIR under section 302 against the killer on the statement of Nusrat Bibi, mother of the deceased.
