2 blind murders solved in Sheikhupura
MURIDKE: The Factory Area and Sharqpur police claimed to have solved two blind murders, in which eight people were killed, and arrested the killers who are said to be relatives of the deceased.
Addressing a press conference at his office here on Saturday, DPO Rana Shahid Pervaiz said that Amanat Ali, his wife Misbah Bibi, four-year-old Danish Raza and eight-year-old Sadia were kidnapped from Chak 14 and later murdered and thrown into Khanpur Canal. He said that they were abducted and murdered by Amanat’s brother Karamat Ali, his sons Imran and Ihsan, father-in-law Muhammad Sharif and two brothers-in-law. He said that the Sharqpur police arrested the killers after four months and the accused had confessed to the crime.
He said that the Factory Area police had arrested Imran and Nawaz, residents of Missan Kalar village, who had confessed to having killed Haji Nawaz alias Tariq, Haji Abdul Rashid, Inamullah and Muhammad Asif. He said that the police were conducting raids to arrest two fleeing killers. He said that both incidents had occurred over property dispute.
