Islamabad: 7 outlaws arrested
ISLAMABAD: The capital police on Sunday arrested seven outlaws from different areas of the city and recovered liquor and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.
He said the Bhara Kahu police arrested two persons and recovered nine bottles of liquor from their possession. The Kohsar police during patrolling intercepted a vehicle and recovered six cartons of beer during search which led to the arrest of an accused.
Similarly, the Margalla police arrested a person after the recovery of a 30-bore pistol and a magazine along with two cartridges from him. The Sabzi Mandi police during patrolling arrested an accused and also recovered a 30-bore pistol from him.
Meanwhile, the Crime Investigation Department (CID) during interrogation of a case recovered a pistol and a dagger on information of two accused. Separate cases were registered against the accused with police stations concerned and investigations were in progress. SSP Tahir Alam Khan directed all Station House Officers to accelerate their efforts against anti-social elements and ensure protection to the life and property of the citizens.
