GUJRANWALA: CIA Police headed by SP Mubashar Ahemd Monday started a campaign against drug pushers and proclaimed offenders. The police team claimed to have made headway and recovered a large quantity of liquor from drug pushers.
A police team headed by inspector Zulfiqar Virk at a picket checked suspect car LXZ7518 driven by Riaz Ahemd of village and car LRR8150 driven by Amir Hamza of village Dhani and recovered 126 bottles of wine and seven cartoons of beer worth Rs 1300,000. The accused told the police that they had brought wine from Islamabad and wanted to deliver to a club in Lahore. Police are investigating.
