Karachi: IB Sindh chief granted bail
Karachi: A sessions court granted bail on Tuesday to the provincial director of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and two police officials against a surety of Rs50,000 each in a case pertaining to the kidnapping of an industrialist and his two sons and harassment of his family.
Director Intelligence Bureau (Sindh) Manzoor Mughal was granted bail on Tuesday, while SP Tahir Noorani and ADIG Investigation Gul Hameed Samoo had secured bail on Monday.
In the last hearing, Additional District and Sessions Judge (East) Hafiza Usman had re-issued bailable warrants for the arrest of Director IB Mughal, SP Noorani, ADIG Investigation Samoo and DSP Agha Asghar Ali Pathan through the inspector-general of police with the direction to produce them in the court on June 22.
Pathan and Sardar Humayun have already been granted bail for a surety of Rs50,000 each. They were booked for allegedly kidnapping Haji Mohammad Zakria and his two sons in June 2009 in the Korangi Industrial Area police limits.
