Sialkot: Serial killer gets death, fine
SIALKOT: District and Sessions Judge Manzoor Hussain Dogar on Wednesday awarded death, life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 700,000 to a man for murdering 13 aged women.
According to the prosecution, Muhammad Yousaf, son of Muhammad Sharif, had kidnapped and murdered Khurshid Bibi, an old woman, at Pakka Garha in the Muradpur police limits in September last.
Yousaf was also found guilty of abducting and murdering 13 women across the district. In addition, he had committed 22 robberies in Cant, Uggoki, Kotwali, Motrah and Sadr police areas.
The police arrested Yousaf on September 21, 2010 when he was carrying an old woman on a motorcycle.
The convict used to allure elderly women by promising them to help them get financial support from the welfare projects like the Benazir Income Support Programme. Later, he used to either kill the women with blunt tools and bricks or strangle them.
