Islamabad: 2 bodies found from different areas
ISLAMABAD: Two bodies were found from different areas of the capital on Wednesday, police said. In the first incident, the body of a young man was found hanging with a tree from the area near to Shakarparin. Some passersby spotted the body and informed the police which reached the spot and untied the body and later shifted to the hospital for legal process. Later, the victim was identified as Junaid Khalid, 25, a resident of Gujranwala.
The police succeeded in contacting his brother Omar Khalid who said that Junaid Khalid had gone missing 15 days ago. He said his brother was mentally disturbed and tried to commit suicide some month ago by jumping down from his house in Gujranwala.
In another incident, a body was found floating in a nullah in Bhara Kahu. The incident came to light when some passersby spotted it and informed the police. The police retrieved the body from the water and shifted it to hospital for legal process.
The victim, said to be in mid 30s, was yet to be identified. A cell phone was also recovered from him but water had damaged it. The police said that the body seemed to be two days old. The circumstantial evidences suggested that it came to Bhara Kahu area floating on the water from somewhere else.
