Parachinar: More tribesmen freed
PARACHINAR: Four more people abducted from Kurram Agency were freed by the militants bringing the total number of release men to 26. Earlier, 22 kidnapped persons were set free after payment of Rs30 million ransom. The four freed persons were identified as assistant professor Murad Toru, Malak Taj, Irshad Khan and Malak Aman, They belonged to Mardan and Charsadda and were kidnapped from Parao area by the militants.
A few days back a tribal jirga and the local administration had succeeded in brokering a deal with the militants. Militants had kidnapped about 45 people of Turi tribe after an attack on passenger buses near an FC checkpost in Baggan area of lower Kurram on March 25.
