Additional District and Sessions Judge Malik Iqbal sentenced Faisal Taj to death for killing his wife Rehana Bibi in July 23, 2009.
Airport police arrested Faisal Taj on the charges of burning his wife to death. His mother Gulzar Begum and his sister Saiqa Nasreen were also arrested for helping the killer.
Faisal Taj married Rehana Bibi in 2007. He wanted to have another marriage but his wife was putting strong resistance to his second marriage. Upon this, Faisal Taj killed his wife after setting her ablaze.
