Islamabad: Musharraf’s ex-ADC commits suicide
ISLAMABAD: Major (R) Tanveer, former ADC of ex-president Gen (R) Pervez Musharraf, committed suicide by shooting himself with his gun, police said on Thursday. According to the police, he was a resident of Al-Karam Apartments, F-11 Market, Islamabad, and was running a private security agency in the federal capital. SP Sadar Nadeem Hussain, when contacted by The News, quoting Tanveer’s father-in-law said that Major (R) Tanveer was facing financial problems but he had never shared them with anyone.
He said that Tanveer went to bathroom and shot himself in his temple, killing himself on the spot. The SP confirmed that Maj (R) Tanveer had served as the ADC of Gen (R) Pervez Musharraf and got his retirement in 2004. After retirement, Tanveer set up a private security agency in the federal capital, he added.
