Karachi: 3 gunned down in separate incidents
Karachi: Three people were gunned down in different firing incidents on Thursday. Muhammad Rafeeq, 25, sustained bullet wounds when Nazar Ali, Ameen, Kareem, and Anwar, after an exchange hot words, whipped out their handguns and opened fire on him just outside his Kemari residence in the Docks Police limits.
The armed men managed to flee after the incident, leaving him in a pool of blood. After hearing the shots, his family members and area people came out of their residences, rushed to the spot and saw him in an injured condition. They immediately took him to the Civil Hospital but he breathed his last on the way.
According to the police, the deceased was stealing an illegal connection from the connection of the accused. Basheer Ahmed, 35, was shot dead, when Shahid, after a quarrel with him, whipped out his handgun and opened fire on him just outside his Mehran Town residence in Korangi Industrial Area police jurisdiction and managed to flee after leaving his body in pool of blood.
His family members, after hearing the gunshots rushed to the spot and saw his body in pool of blood. They took his body to JPMC for legal formalities.
According to the police, the murder resulted from some personal enmity. An unidentified, 30-year-old man was shot dead, when two armed men riding a motorcycle opened fire at him near Ranchore Lane in Nabi Bukhsh police area, while he was heading home.
His body was shifted to Civil Hospital for legal formalities. According to the police this murder also resulted from long-standing enmity.
