5 tribesmen held in Landikotal
LANDIKOTAL: Five tribesmen were arrested under the Collective Responsibility Section of the Frontier Crimes Regulation, official sources said on Sunday. The sources said that the arrests were made in connection with the blasts that took place adjacent to the Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School and Cantonment a few days ago.
There was no loss of life in the explosions. They said the authorities detained five tribesmen belonging to the Ashrafkhel tribe. Meanwhile, 10 people, including four children, sustained injuries when a speeding car collided with a pick-up in Charwazgai area on Sunday, local sources said. A pick-up vehicle (Dir-4407) collided head-on with an oncoming car, leaving four children among 10 people wounded. The injured were rushed to the Agency Headquarters Hospital wherefrom two of the children were transferred to a hospital in Peshawar.
