Bombs defused near army camp in Dara
KOHAT: The security forces on Wednesday defused three bombs planted by militants near the army camp office in Dara Adamkhel, officials said.
They said that the terrorists had planted three grenades on the roadside of the NHA Colony where army engaged in operation in Darra Adamkhel had a camp office. The heavily-guarded colony is located at a stone’s throw from the northern portal of the strategic Friendship Tunnel, which had been targeted several times by the militants in the past.
The patrolling forces sighted the bombs and called the bomb disposal squad, which defused them. The army conducted search operation in the region after the incident, but no arrests could be made.
