Karachi: 2 found shot dead
Karachi: In Baldia Town, two young men were found shot dead in a graveyard, police said. The officials added that the hands and legs of both victims, in their late 20s, were found tied with pieces of rope. “The victims, clad in shalwar kameez, were spotted by the staff of the graveyard in Baldia Town No 7,” said an official at the Baldia Town police station.
He said the bodies were removed and shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi. Each victim suffered three gunshot wounds, he added.
One of the victims was later identified as 27-year-old Shakil Qureshi, a resident of Agra Taj Colony in Lyari, the official said. He added that the deceased went missing on Saturday night after leaving home with some friends.
“We have registered an FIR (130/2011) under Sections 302 (premeditated murder) and 34 (common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code against unidentified suspects on a complaint of Shakil’s father, Haji Younus Qureshi,” the official said.
