Lahore: 21 held with loot
LAHORE: The National Highways & Motorway Police N-5 Central have arrested 21 criminals involved in different negative activities and recovered illegal arms, ammunition, snatched mobile-phones, motorcycles, stolen goods, precious copper wire, cattle, implements of house breaking and other valuables besides helping a lost child to reunite with his family and saving 40,000 litre oil by extinguishing the fire of an oil tanker during the last few days.
NH&MP Patrol Officers arrested Manzoor, Qurban Ali R/o Lahore, Nasir, Khurram R/o Phoolnagar, Umar, Asif, Allah Ditta, Zafar, Naveed, Manzoor, Anwar, Nasir, Naveed, Fahim, Wasim, Hassan and Shaukat R/o Khanewal and recovered big quantity of arms, ammunition, mobile-phones and stolen copper wire of Warid Company worth many lakhs rupees. On the direction of DIG Fateh Sher Joyia, the recovered items along with arrested criminals were handed over to local police for further action. The NH&MP officers also saved 40,000 oil from being burnt by timely extinguishing the fire of an oil tanker (PLS-155) besides helping a seven-year-old Sajawal S/o Gulzar R/o Ahmadpur (East) reunite with the family.
