Bara: 2 militants killed as hideout hit
BARA: Two militants were killed while two others were injured in the Ghaibi Neka area of Tirah Valley when their hideout was hit by mortar shells fired by security forces based in Sheen Kamar in Khyber Agency, local sources said on Wednesday.
The sources said the security forces shelled the positions of the banned Lashkar-e-Islam (LI) in Ghaibi Neka area throughout Tuesday night. The shell landed in a bunker located on Lawata hilltop and killed two militants and left two others injured.
Meanwhile, the tribal lashkar attacked the LI’s position known as Jihadi Sangar in the nearby Lakar Baba area and occupied it after fierce fighting. Three volunteers of LI were reportedly injured in the fresh fighting.
