Islamabad: Man shot dead by in-laws
ISLAMABAD: A 30-year-old man was killed in the limits of Sabzi Mandi Police Station on Monday. According to sources, Azmat Hussain Shah, came to the house of his brother-in-laws Yasir and Abid at Sector I-10/1 and demanded Rs 0.5 million which they had to owe him. During exchange of heated arguments they shot him dead.
His dead body was shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for autopsy. Duty officer of Sabzi Mandi Police Station said that both brothers had been arrested and illegal weapon was recovered from their possession.
According to sources, during last 20 days as many as four persons had been killed and a bank was looted in the limits of Sabzi Mandi Police Station but police authorities have not taken any action against the relevant officers.
On July 7, a 25-year-old man was killed and two other persons Abdul Satar and Ahsan were injured. A dead body of a person was also found from a warehouse located in sector I-11. On June 23 six persons who were riding a Mehran car and motorbike reached
Al Falah Bank and after looting Rs 3.8 million managed to escape. Besides crime rate has been increased but Sabzi Mandi police is allegedly busy in making money.
