7 outlaws held in Bannu
BANNU: The police on Thursday claimed to have arrested seven outlaws and seized a huge quantity of arms from them during a search operation in the limits of Bakkakhel Police Station. Talking to reporters, District Police Officer (DPO) Sajjad Khan said the police launched search operation in Janikhel, Sardikhel and Hindikhel areas and arrested seven proclaimed offenders wanted to the law-enforcement agencies in robberies, kidnapping and other anti-social activities.
The outlaws were identified as Gul Wali, Falak Naz, Sher Qadir, Zaboor Shah, Raham Jalal, Shah Dev Khan and Tawab Khan. The DPO said that arms included four Kalashnikov rifles, five guns, four pistols and several cartridges, besides 1,050 grams of hashish were recovered from their possession.
