Lahore: Man killed on fodder issue
LAHORE: A 70-year-old farmer was clubbed to death by three persons in the Khana area on Friday. The deceased was identified as Muhammad Din, a resident of Gajju Matta. Police said M Din had agriculture land in Chak Shahzada Khana. On the day of the incident, the victim saw a local resident, Atta, and two others cutting fodder from his fields without his permission.
Muhammad Din tried to stop them, on which, they first exchanged harsh words with him and later beat him with clubs. As a result, he sustained severe injuries. He was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police have removed the body to mortuary and registered a murder case against the accused on the complaint of the deceased’s brother Sharif.
