Islamabad: 4 outlaws arrested
ISLAMABAD: The Koral Police on Wednesday arrested four persons for liquor bootlegging and possessing weapons and marijuana during a raid in Alipur village. A police spokesman said that the police also recovered 700 bottles of liquor, a Kalashnikov and 650grams marijuana from their possession.
The police was informed by the sources that a gang of liquor bootleggers was shifting huge cache of liquor in Alipur village. Superintendent of Police (Rural) Faisal Bashir Memon constituted a team under the supervision of SHO Koral Inspector Maher Munawar. The team conducted a raid and succeeded in arresting a bootlegger while two others managed to escape from the scene. The police also recovered 200 bottles of liquor.
During preliminary interrogation, the arrested person disclosed the hideout where the liquor was stored. A police team raided the hideout and recovered 500 bottles.
Likewise, the Koral police during patrolling intercepted three suspects and recovered Kalashnikov and 650grams marijuana from them.
