MANSEHRA: Armed men blew up a newly-built school building in Oghi early Thursday morning, the police said. Officials of the Oghi Police Station said that a group of gunmen entered the Government Primary School at Kabal early in the morning and blew up the building with explosive devices after robbing the watchman.

Mohammad Ayaz, a contractor of the school, lodged a report with the Oghi police station, saying that the Communication and Works Department had awarded him the contract of the school building construction.

He alleged that when the construction work was completed and labourers were giving the finishing touch to the building, men sent by his rival contactor Haq Nawaz blew up the building.
