Peshawar: Would-be suicide bomber killed
PESHAWAR: A would-be suicide bomber was shot dead when he allegedly tried to attack the head of Adezai Peace Laskar at Bazeed Khel in Badaber area here on Thursday. Police said that the 21-year-old outlaw first threw a hand grenade at Dilawar Khan, Head of Adezai Peace Lashkar and later tried to run towards him in order to explode himself.
The bodyguards of the Head of Peace Lashkar promptly reacted and shot him dead on the spot. Later, the bomb disposal squad removed suicide jacket from the deceased, police said. Khan had come to Bazeed Khel to meet former Nazim Faheem when the incident occurred.
