Lahore: Terror suspects indicted
LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court on Friday indicted four accused in attack on Police Emergency Service 15 building. The accused are Abid Akram, Sarfraz, Asif and Shabbir. The court has also summoned prosecution witnesses by August 13 to record their statements.
On Friday, the CIA produced the accused before the court. The court asked them whether they accept charges levelled against them by police or not.
All the accused refused to accept police investigation and pleaded not guilty. On this, the court framed charges against them to start trial proceedings.
According to the case, during attack on Police Emergency Service 15, more than 20 police officials were killed. Later police had registered a case against unidentified attackers.
