Lahore: 2 rapists remanded
LAHORE: A judicial magistrate of Cantt Courts on Monday granted 15-day physical remand of Muhammad Hakeem and Nadir, accused of raping a 13 years old girl, to Nishtar Town police.
Nishtar Town police produced both the accused before the court and sought their physical remand to carry out investigation. The court accepted the plea, directing the police to submit the investigation report on the next hearing.
As per the FIR, a 13-year-old girl, resident of Nishtar Town, was kidnapped in front of her mother. Later, the accused gang raped her and left her unconscious on the Ferozepur Road.
Allah Rakhi, mother of victim, stated before the police that she was coming from a marriage party in a public van along with her daughter. She said that when she got out of the vehicle in Nishtar Town, the van driver suddenly increased the speed of the vehicle with her daughter still inside it and disappeared.
As per the girl’s statement, she tried to come out of the van when her mother got out but the conductor held her back while the driver suddenly sped up. Afterwards, she added, four people boarded the van, tied her up and severely tortured her. She said that kidnappers took her to a shop where they gang raped her. She said the men forced her to drink alcohol before they repeatedly gang raped her, adding that she had overheard that the driver’s name was Abdul Hakim, the conductor’s was Ghulam Qadir and the other two were Nadir and Faryad.
