Lahore: 40-yr-old man shot dead
LAHORE: A 40-year-old man was shot dead by gunmen in Green Town on Monday. Two unidentified motorcyclists intercepted Sarfraz Ali near Hadayet Chowk, held him at gunpoint and opened fire at him. He was shifted to Jinnah Hospital by security guards of a factory where he succumbed to his wounds. The deceased’s family told the police that Ali had no enmity with anyone.
Green Town Sub-Inspector Atta Muhammad claimed that Ali was not shot dead in street crime. He said the police had found cash, a mobile phone and other valuables on him.
Police registered a murder case against unidentified assailants on the complaint of victim’s brother, Shahbaz Ali, said the police official and added that the body had been shifted to the city morgue for autopsy.
