LAHORE: Ghaziabad police have failed to arrest the murderer who allegedly burnt to death her 18-year-old maternal niece on the charge of her involvement in immoral activities. The deceased girl was identified as Amna, a 1st year student of a local college and resident of Hanif Park.
Amna often remained engaged on her cell-phone with someone, likely with her male friends. Upon this, her maternal uncle Mushtaq also censured her but to no avail. On the day of incident, she was engaged on her cell phone besides watching television when Mushtaq went out of senses and set her on fire while sprinkling kerosene oil on her. Later, she was rushed to the Burn Unit of Mayo Hospital for her medical treatment where she died.
