Islamabad: CNG station owner gunned down
ISLAMABAD: The owner of a CNG station was gunned down by three armed men in Tarnol area late Tuesday night, the police said. Mujahid Shah, 26, a native of Mardan, was hit by 11 bullets fired from a close range.
The police said three gunmen attacked the CNG station located on G.T. Road and started firing at Mujahid Shah, killing him on the spot. The attackers after confirming his death escaped from the scene.
The police said that Mujahid Shah had earlier leased out his CNG station and on the expiry of the lease agreement about 10 days ago, he took the charge of the station.
The CNG station employees including the watchman told the police that Mujhaid Shah had been very careful for the last three months as he told his employees that he had an enmity with someone but neither he disclosed his rivals’ names nor did he tell about the nature of the enmity.
