Lalamusa: 3 fall victim to bad blood
LALAMUSA: Three persons were reportedly murdered while three injured in two different incidents when they under fire from their rivals here the other day. The motive behind the murders is stated to be old rivalry. As per detail, Haji Zafar Iqbal, son of Muhammad Khan, along with brother Inayat, residents of Mouza Chak Skinder, while riding in a taxi car driven by Pervaiz, son of Muhammad Din, a resident of Christian Colony Rawalpindi, was proceeding to Kharian to attend court proceedings.
As the car came out of the village Chak Skinder, their rival laying in ambush, opened indiscriminate fire on the car. As a result Haji Zafar Iqbal and car driver Pervaiz were killed on the spot while Inayat received serious bullet wound and was admitted to district hospital. The car was riddled with bullets.
According to the police, rivalry has been going on between two groups of village and criminal cases have pending against them. The police have sent the bodies to THQ Hospital for post-mortem. However, FIR has not been registered yet.
In another similar incident that occurred near Mouza Noor Jamal in which the old enmity claimed the life of a youngman while his three companions sustained serious bullet wounds.
According to the Dinga Police, Kashif Hanif alias Sohail Ahmed, son of Muhammad Rashid, Asghar Ali, son of Ghulam Rasool, Muhammad Asghar son of Munsha and Anjum were going back to their village from Dinga. When they reached near village, six armed persons of their rival party opened indiscriminate fire on their car. Resultantly, Kashif Hanif was killed on the spot while his three companions were seriously injured who were rushed to hospital.
