Nato oil-tanker blown up in Landi Kotal
LANDI KOTAL: An oil-tanker carrying fuel for Afghanistan-based Nato forces was blown up with a time bomb in Sadukhel area of Landikotal subdivision on Friday, local sources said. Official sources said the bomb went off at 10 a.m. and the vehicle caught fire, causing leakage of oil.
Owing to the leaping flames, the 123K power lines in the area were melted down and electricity supply to Zakhakhel areas was suspended. The officials of the political administration and fire fighters rushed to the site and extinguished the fire. The driver and his cleaner fled the scene soon after the explosion.
