Islamabad: During a search operation on Sunday, the Islamabad Police arrested 45 suspects and 23 outlaws and recovered 48 bottles of liquor, drugs, hand-grenade and illegal weapons from their possession.
According to the police spokesman, the Koral Police nabbed 45 suspects during a search operation in Korang Town, Pakistan Town, PWD Colony, Lohi Bheer, Police Foundation, Doctors Colony and their adjoining localities. Investigation is underway from the nabbed suspects.
Meanwhile, the Tarnol Police apprehended Gul Wali and Ayatullah for having a hand-grenade and two pistols. The Sihala Police nabbed Janan Khan for having 170 grams of hashish and Shehbaz Masih for having 24 bottles of wine.
The Bhara Kahu Police apprehended Amjad Hussain for having 520 grams of hashish. A team, led by the Kohsar Police Station SHO, raided a house in Sector F-6/1 and arrested 16 persons for their alleged involvement in immoral activities. As many as 24 bottles of wine were also recovered in the raid.
