2 murder accused granted bail
LAHORE: An Anti Terrorism Court on Tuesday granted interim bail to two accused namely Sher Muhammad and Ghulam Muhammad of Bhinder group by August 9, allegedly involved in killing PML-N Coordinator Memoona Jabeen and two others.
The court has directed both the accused to submit the surety bonds of Rs. 100,000 each. The court has also directed the police to produce the case properties before the court on the next hearing.
PML-N Coordinator Memoona Jabeen, her security guard and a passer-by were killed and three passers-by injured in the area of Badami Bagh, Lahore, when armed men opened fires on them.
According to police, the incident took place as a result of an old enmity between Bhindar group and Zahid group in the Badami Bagh police area.
Police had registered a case against around 15 persons, belonging to Bhindar Group, including the arrested uncle and father of the murdered Arif Bhindar.
Previously, the court had rejected the bail application of Munawar Bhindar, uncle of murdered Advocate General Arif Bhindar.
