Karachi: SBCA razes illegal constructions
Karachi: Demolition teams of Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) razed illegal constructions in different areas of the city, said a press release issued here on Wednesday.
As per details, construction works on the second floor of plot No B-67 Block-I North Nazimabad and plot No 5/5 Block 5-D Nazimabad were razed. The RCC roofs and walls were torn down as they were illegal.
In Jamshed Town area, the third floor of plot No A-434, Block-7 was razed, while in Parsi Colony a private school’s building at plot No 6 was razed as it was illegal.
In Lyari Town area, the demolition team razed the second floor of plot No 332 in Bihar Colony whereas in Liaquatabad Town area, shuttering of the second floor of plot No 1/14 situated in Firdous Colony was torn down. In another action in the said area, an illegally constructed cement slab on the ground floor of plot No 1/8 Block 4-E was razed.
Furthermore, the demolition in different action in Korangi area razed the walls of plot No E-77 Sector D-31 and plots A-490 and A-491 in Sector 6-A, whereas tore down illegal shuttering on the ground floors of plot No A-121 and plot No 324 in Sector 6-A of the said area.
All the actions were held under the supervision of the concerned deputy and assistant directors and demolition officers of SBCA.
