Rawalpindi: Charges framed in abduction case
RAWALPINDI: Anti-Terrorist Court-II Judge Pervez Ali Shah Thursday framed charges against an accused involved in a kidnapping for ransom case.
The court framed charges against Muhammad Ishaq for allegedly kidnapping a nine-year-old boy, Muhammad Faizan. The court adjourned further hearing in the case till September 12.
The Saddar Bairuni Police Station had registered a case under Section 365-A against Muhammad Ishaq for allegedly kidnapping a nine-year-old boy, Muhammad Faizan, from Quaid-i-Azam Colony on December 4, 2010.
The kidnapper demanded Rs5 million from Muhammad Faizan’s parents. According to Faizan’s father, Ziarat Hussain kidnapped his son at around 7 p.m. and after three to four hours contacted him, making a demand of Rs5 million. Police however managed to arrest the kidnapper and recover the boy on December 8, 2010.
