2 killed in Peshawar
PESHAWAR: A man was shot dead while body of a middle aged man was recovered in separate incidents here on Saturday, police said. Rawil Khan was shot at by his relatives at Bakhshi Pul, Charsadda Road over a domestic issue who later died at Lady Reading Hospital.
During his death statement he told police he had just disembarked from a truck that some armed men opened fire at him and he fell down. “Later, I recognised that one Hidayatullah was involved in the firing,” he said. A police official said a murder case against the accused had been registered at Khazana police station.
In another case, body of a man was recovered from a canal at Chamkani. An official of Chamkani police said the body, aged about 36, bore signs of violence. He said he seemed to have been poisoned.
