GUJRANWALA: Khiali Circle Police recovered 500 bottles of foreign liquor from a truck and arrested three drug pushers, said a police spokesman here Tuesday.
The police got information that wine was being transported by truck 8175 RIN. ASP Ms Nida Riaz Chattha ordered checking the truck by blocking a road. The police party at Khanguiwnala GT Road stopped the truck, search it and recovered 500 bottles of wine. Police arrested Nadeem, bus conductor, Hashim Ali and wine supplier Rashid. They were carrying the wine from Lahore to Nakiali, AJK and Gujranwala. Sadr Police have registered a case. RPO DIG Ahmed has sanctioned cash awards for the police party.
