Lahore: 4 killers nabbed
LAHORE: A 14-year-old boy was tortured to death allegedly by his employers, who were running a musical academy, for allegedly stealing sound system of their car in Iqbal Town Police limits Tuesday.
Police arrested killers when they were trying to escape in order to dispose of teenager’s body in Rohi drain. The deceased was identified as Bodi resident of Mandi Bahauddin district. The police said he was working at the Khurram Musical Academy located in Ayub Market near Shahnoor Studios, owned by one person namely Khurram. The police said Khurram about three days ago abducted Bodi from his house located in Bhaikaywal village after accusing him of stealing sound system of his car.
The police said during abduction Khurram along with his father Siddique Masih, brother Babar, brother-in-law Usman and a friend Muhammad Tariq subjected Bodi to severe torture for three days due to which he died.
According to Iqbal Town SHO Qamar Abbas, the aforesaid killers have kept the body hidden in their house and when it started stinking, they on Tuesday wrapped the body in a carpet and finally decided to dispose it of in Rohi drain to avoid arrest.
He said the killers were preparing to shift the body when police on a tip-off raided and arrested the killers except Khurram and recovered the body from their possession. The police later registered a case as well as started probing the matter. The SHO claimed that they have conducted some raids and will soon arrest Khurram.
