Lahore: Teenager tortured to death; killers held
LAHORE: A 14-years-old boy was allegedly tortured to death by his employers, who were running a musical academy, for stealing a car tape in Iqbal Town Police precincts on Tuesday. Police investigators said that the accused had been arrested when they were trying to dispose of teenager’s body in Rohi Nala while hiding it in a carpet.
The deceased was identified as Bodi, a resident of Baha-ud-Din District. Police concerned said that the deceased was working at Khurram Musical Academy located in Ayub Market near Shah Noor Studio, owned by one Khurram. Police investigators further said that Khurram abducted Bodi from his house located in Bhaikay Wal village about three days ago after charging him for allegedly stealing a tape from his academy.
The police said that during abduction Khurram in connivance with his father Saddique Masih, brother Baber, brother-in-law Usman and a friend Muhammad Tariq subjected Bodi to severe torture till three days due to which he died. Iqbal Town SHO Qamar Abbas said the aforesaid killers had kept the body hidden in their house and when it starting omitting smell, they, on Tuesday, finally decided to dispose it of in Rohi Nala. He said that the killers were preparing to move when police arrested Saddique Masih, his son Baber, his son-in-law Usman and Khurram’s friend M Tariq.
