Islamabad: 12 outlaws held
Islamabad: The Islamabad Police on Wednesday arrested 12 people including four gamblers and recovered 35 wine bottles and drugs from their possession, a police spokesman said.
Kohsar Police Station SHO Abid Ikram and his police team raided a gambling den in sector F-7/4 and arrested four gamblers identified as Mohsin Masih, Shehzad Masih, Dawood Masih and Shamoon Masih. Police also recovered stake money worth Rs. 8,500 from them.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Ali Raza nabbed Imran Masih for having 20 bottles of liquor while ASI Abdul Qadir from Bhara Kahu Police arrested Aashir Masih and recovered 15 bottles of liquor from him.
Sabzi Mandi Police Station arrested Shahida Perveen and recovered 2.40-kilogram hashish from her. Sabzi Mandi Police also arrested Fahad Iqbal and recovered 160 gram hashish from him. Shalimar police also nabbed four professional beggars. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway.
