Islamabad: 4 arrested for stealing NUML’s entry test question paper
ISLAMABAD: National University of Modern Languages (NUML), out of eight employees and students, four have been arrested for stealing question paper of entry test for engineering course on Wednesday. Suspects will be produced in the court on Thursday to obtain physical remand for the further investigation.
On the other hand registrar of the university has extended the date of entry test and new question paper will be prepared for the test that will be held on August 24.
According to police sources, registrar of the university Saleem Daud has lodged First Information Report (FIR) with Sabzi Mandi police station that two employees Altaf Hussain and Muhammad Riaz had stolen the questioner and given to Amin Nawaz, Ahmed Saeed, Amin Saqib, Muhammad Riaz Waqar, Raja Faisal, Omer Farooq, Ahsan Nawaz and Hassan Ali.
In their departmental enquiry it has been confirmed that all those persons were involved in stealing question paper, he added.
Duty officer said that those entry test papers not only used for the assurance that their close ones would be passed but besides that those could be sold.
