Dadu: DSP, SHO, nine others booked in murder case
DADU: The DSP Dadu, SHO Dadu Police Station and nine policemen were booked in a case of the murder of a villager on the directives of the Fourth Additional Sessions Judge, Dadu, on Friday.
According to reports, a villager Yasin Khushak, along with his cousin, was coming to appear in the lower court some four days back, when a police mobile hit them, killing one villager on the spot and injuring another.
Despite demands and protests of the killed villager’s relatives, the police refused to lodge a case against the policemen indulged in the incident. Later, angry villagers staged a protest outside the Sessions Court and also approached the court for lodging a murder case against the police staff involved in the incident. However, on the immediate directives of the Fourth Additional Sessions Judge, Dadu, on Friday a murder case was lodged against DSP Dadu Razi Khan, SHO Dadu Police Station, Akbar Channa and nine other policemen at the A-Session Police Station, Dadu. No one was arrested till the filing of this report.
