Sialkot: FIA arrests 2 sub-agents
SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two sub-agents namely Sadiq Shah from Sialkot city and Muhammad Hanif from Glotiyaan-Daska. Deputy Director FIA Gujranwala Region Gul Snobar Khan told the newsmen here that both the accused were the sub-agents of village Begowala-Daska based fugitive Zahid Gondal and Shahid Gondal, the real brothers who were international human traffickers, and already have escaped to Greece.
The main human traffickers, their agents and sub agents had extorted heavy amount from village Chak Gillan East-Daska based six youths by sending them to Greece illegally after showing them the golden dreams of their bright future abroad. They said six youths were suffocated to death on July 20, 2011. Sialkot district based six youths identified as Bilal Ahmed, son of Ghulam Abbas, resident of Motra-Daska, Muhammad Aamir, son of Rehmat Ali, Muhammad son of Yousaf, Zeeqaad, son of Muhammad Iqbal, a resident of village Chak Gillan-East (Daska tehsil), Pervaiz, son of Inayat Ali, a resident of Chawinda city (Pasrur tehsil) and Muhammad Imran, son of Muhammad Tufail, a resident of village Thatha Goraya-Daska had crossed the boundaries of Iran illegally from Pakistan and now they were trying to cross the threshold illegally into Turkish Territory for going to Greece with the help of their agents (international human traffickers).
The accused agents loaded the above-mentioned youths into a small size container. But due to very tight vigilance by the Turkish Boarder Security Forces, the accused human traffickers escaped in a bid to avoid their arrest by parking the tightly closed container there into an open and deserted place near the Turkish border, where all the six youth died due to suffocation in the container. They lost their lives in a bid to go to Greece for their bright future there.
The FIA Deputy Director revealed that the FIA has exposed the national network of the said two fugitive human traffickers Zahid Gondal and Shahid Gondal in Sialkot, saying that the special FIA teams have been raiding various places in Pakistan and Greece for their early arrest and further arrests of their companions as well.
